Senior Accountant / Payment Executive - Job Role

Department: Accounts & Finance

Key Responsibilities

Handle monthly payroll processing for staff and labour employees.

Prepare, verify and process bulk salary payments accurately and on time.

Prepare Bulk NEFT / RTGS payment sheets and upload payment files as per bank requirements.

Verify employee bank account numbers, IFSC codes, names and payment amounts before processing.

Cross-check Payroll, Attendance, Salary Sheet and Bank Payment Sheet before final submission.

Handle salary deductions, advances, adjustments and other payroll-related entries.

Maintain accurate payment records and bank transaction reports.

Handle Tally Prime accounting entries related to payroll and payments.

Maintain payroll and payment data in MS Excel.

Perform bank reconciliation and investigate payment discrepancies.





Coordinate with HR and management regarding salary/payment-related issues.

Maintain strict accuracy, confidentiality and control over payroll and financial data.

Ensure all payment processing is completed within the prescribed timelines.

Required Skills

Solid practical knowledge of Payroll Processing

Experience in Bulk NEFT / RTGS

Valuable knowledge of Tally Prime

Advanced MS Excel skills

Robust numerical and reconciliation skills

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to handle large-volume transactions and confidential salary data

Prior experience handling payroll for 500+ employees will be preferred.
