Kern Platforms is hiring a Sales & Tech Support Associate for a field role covering Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Thane, reporting to the Marketing & Sales Lead.
The role, in two halves:
On the ground — Sales
• Walk into bars, restaurants, cafes, lounges, gyms, salons, and gaming turfs across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Thane to find venues worth pitching
• Open the conversation with owners and managers
• Book and run demos, in office or over a call
• Keep a clean, current pipeline: who you've met, what they said, what happens next
• Hand qualified conversations to the Marketing & Sales Lead to close, and stay in the loop through signing

At the venue — Tech Support
• Set up the system for a venue once they're onboard — accounts, integration, pricing configuration
• Train venue staff to run the day-to-day: starting the queue, handling requests, the basics of what can go wrong
• Be the first call when something breaks after launch, and know when to escalate
• Do a check-in visit after go-live to catch friction before it turns into churn




• Feed what you're hearing from venues back to the team

What we're looking for:
• Comfortable walking into a venue cold and starting a conversation with a stranger
• Picks up current apps fast, comfortable poking around a settings menu until something works
• Transparent communicator in English and Marathi or Hindi
• Based in or near Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, or Thane, comfortable moving around the region daily
• Owning a two-wheeler is an added advantage
• Fine with a role that's still being figured out

No specific degree required. Freshers welcome. We're especially keen to hear from women candidates for this role.
Nice to have, not required: prior sales/support/hospitality experience, basic troubleshooting comfort, existing contacts in the local bar and restaurant scene.
