Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare effective test strategies and test plans.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Validate web applications, REST APIs, and backend services.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-related feedback during development.
• Perform cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive testing.
• Ensure software meets quality standards before release.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies.
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Robust understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).




• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development settings and participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, exploratory, usability, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ability to create detailed test cases, test plans, test scenarios, and test execution reports.
• Experience with defect tracking, bug reporting, and defect lifecycle management.

API Testing

• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs using Postman , Swagger , or similar tools.
• Positive understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience validating JSON responses and API workflows.

Automation Testing

• Basic to intermediate experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver , Playwright , or Cypress .
• Experience writing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
