Role Description The Sponsorship Sales Specialist is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for driving sponsorship revenue for WorldLink Conferences’ events and summits. In this position, the specialist identifies and qualifies potential sponsors, conducts outreach through calls, emails, and meetings, and presents tailored sponsorship proposals aligned with client needs and event objectives. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing agreements. The specialist collaborates closely with marketing and production teams to refine sponsorship packages, ensure timely delivery of sponsor commitments, and maintain accurate records in CRM and reporting tools. Daily activities also include researching industry trends, building long-term relationships with key decision makers, and representing the company in client conversations and industry interactions.
Qualifications
• Proven expertise in Sponsorship Sales and Sponsorship management,



with experience selling conference or event packages.
• Solid Sales skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and present complex solutions clearly.
• Lead Generation skills, including research, outreach, and qualification of potential sponsors.
• Experience in B2B events, conferences, or related industries is highly beneficial.
• Comfort working in an on-site, target-driven environment in Mumbai, with robust organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, and basic sales reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, sponsorship sales, event sales, exhibition sales, or business development.
