Role Description
The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing general ledger entries, reviewing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and reconciling bank and ledger accounts. The role will also involve monitoring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, coordinating with external auditors, and improving internal controls and financial processes.



This is a full time, in office role based in the Pune Division, requiring regular collaboration with operations and management teams to support informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Independently manage the company’s day-to-day accounting activities.
Record and verify purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal and contra entries.
Perform regular customer, supplier and bank reconciliations.
Prepare GST invoices, e-invoices, e-way bills, debit notes and credit notes.
Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable returns.
Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment and return filing.
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments.
Plan vendor payments and obtain approval from management.
Verify purchase orders, sales invoices and expense vouchers.
