About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day accounting and finance operations across an international business.
This is not a purely bookkeeping role. We are looking for someone who can independently manage accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, support month-end close, manage AP/AR, reconciliations, invoicing, collections, payroll coordination, cash-flow tracking, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with US, UK, Canadian, Australian, or Current Zealand accounting settings and be comfortable working with international stakeholders remotely.
What You’ll OwnAccounting & Bookkeeping• Own day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting records.
• Manage journal entries, accruals, prepayments and account adjustments.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and supporting schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
Accounts Payable & Receivable• Manage vendor and supplier invoices.
• Manage customer invoicing and collections.
• Track outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Process and coordinate vendor payments.
• Investigate and resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
Reconciliations & Financial Controls• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile credit cards, balance sheet accounts and other control accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies and post appropriate correcting entries.
• Maintain robust documentation and financial controls.
Cash Flow & Finance Operations• Maintain cash-flow trackers and support cash-flow planning.
• Track payables, receivables and upcoming financial obligations.
• Support budgeting and variance analysis.
• Prepare recurring management reports and financial schedules.
• Identify accounting or process issues and recommend improvements.
