Key Responsibilities
• Perform accurate shade matching against customer/reference standards using visual and instrumental methods.
• Develop recent colour formulations across product categories including PU (Polyurethane), NC (Nitrocellulose), Metallic, and Wood Stain finishes.
• Conduct quality control checks on colours to ensure consistency and adherence to approved standards.
• Carry out batch colour correction during production to meet target shade specifications.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of colours, formulations, and physical colour samples for reference and traceability.
• Support the development of recent shade cards for metallic and solid colour ranges.
• Provide hands-on production support for colour batching and troubleshooting.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to shade mismatches or colour quality issues.
• Ensure all shade development projects are completed within agreed timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's/Diploma in Chemistry, Paint Technology, Color Science, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in colour matching/formulation, preferably in paints, coatings, inks, or a related industry.
• Working knowledge of colour matching systems (spectrophotometer, colour matching software) is an advantage.
• Understanding of PU, NC, Metallic, and Wood Stain coating systems is a
