About Jay Kay Tools
Jay Kay Tools is a family-run business supplying engineering tools, industrial hardware, fasteners, machine components, and related products to customers. We serve the needs of workshops, mechanics, fabricators, and businesses requiring reliable tools and hardware.
We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented Accountant to join our office team located behind the shop in Morwadi, Pune. This is an chance to take ownership of the day-to-day accounting function in a small-business workplace, working directly with the owner and coordinating with the office team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records, ledgers and financial transactions.
• Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices, bills and vouchers.
• Perform bank, cash, supplier and customer account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, outstanding payments and follow-ups.
• Maintain GST records and assist with GST returns, TDS and other statutory compliance.
• Assist with monthly financial reports, expense tracking and cash-flow monitoring.




• Maintain accurate records of stock-related transactions and support inventory reconciliation.
• Manage accounting documentation and ensure records are organised and up to date.
• Coordinate with the owner, suppliers, customers and external Chartered Accountant as required.
• Identify discrepancies, resolve accounting issues and support improvements in accounting processes.

Eligibility & Required Skills

• B.Com graduate is mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and financial record-keeping.
• Practical understanding of GST, invoicing, bank reconciliation and accounts payable/receivable.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with GST portals, e-invoicing and e-way bills is preferred.
• Experience with inventory accounting or trading/wholesale businesses will be an advantage.
