About the role

We’re looking for an experienced SEO Content Writer to join the team at Ethos and support our growing content efforts across life insurance and wealth management.

You’ll create engaging, search-optimized financial content designed to perform across traditional search engines as well as emerging AI and LLM-driven discovery platforms. You’ll work closely with the SEO team to turn search insights, content briefs, and complex financial topics into explicit,



practical, and trustworthy content for consumers.

This role is best suited for someone with prior experience creating and optimizing content for U.S. audiences, particularly in finance or financial services. The ideal candidate combines strong financial writing experience with a solid understanding of SEO, search intent, and how content is increasingly discovered and referenced by LLMs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and optimize content across wealth management, personal finance, and life insurance topics.

• Translate complex financial concepts into explicit, accurate, and consumer-friendly content.

• Create content aligned with search intent, SEO best practices, and LLM discoverability.

• Research financial topics using credible primary and secondary sources, ensuring claims are accurate and well-supported.

• Structure content effectively using headings, summaries, FAQ
