The SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP BRIM solutions to support subscription-based, usage-based, and recurring billing processes. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, optimize billing and revenue processes, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Implementation
Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP BRIM solutions.
Configure, enhance, and support BRIM modules including:
Subscription Order Management (SOM)
Convergent Charging (CC)
Convergent Invoicing (CI)
Contract Accounting (FI-CA)
Project Delivery
Participate in design workshops and prepare functional specifications.
Support full lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with technical teams for WRICEF objects and middleware integration.
Operational Support
Handle incidents, service requests,
and perform root-cause analysis.
Provide training and knowledge transfer to existing teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Certification
SAP BRIM Certification.
Experience
Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in SAP BRIM with at least one full end-to-end BRIM implementation.
Robust knowledge of Quote-to-Cash processes.
Hands-on configuration experience in SOM, CC, CI, and FI-CA.
Technical Expertise
Pricing and rating setup in Convergent Charging.
Billing and invoicing processes in Convergent Invoicing.
FI-CA integration for financial postings.
Basic knowledge of middleware and API integration with external systems.
Soft Skills
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in Agile environments. Experience with JIRA or Azure DevOps is an added advantage.
