Key Responsibilities
CI/CD & Pipeline Management: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD to automate application build, testing, and deployment workflows.
Streaming Infrastructure: Deploy, configure, tune, and maintain Apache Kafka clusters, ensuring event-driven architectures operate reliably with high throughput and low latency.
Containerization & Orchestration: Manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters (deployments, ingress, service meshes, config maps, RBAC, auto-scaling, and monitoring).
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation: Provision and manage multi-workplace cloud and on-prem infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
Scripting & Tooling: Develop custom automation scripts and operational utilities using Bash / Shell scripting to reduce manual task toil.
ITIL Operations & Governance: Adhere to ITIL framework standards for Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Release Management to minimize operational downtime.
Collaboration & Technical Communication: Partner with software developers, system architects, and operations teams to articulate technical architecture, document pipeline strategies, and manage stake-holder expectations clearly.
