The Power Diagnostics® Services Performance Monitoring Engineer reviews daily results from monitoring infrastructure and digital twin models to proactively investigate, diagnose, and communicate performance issues that may impact the reliability and capability of assigned power plants. This role provides technical support for customer inquiries, develops recommendations with engineering support as needed, sets up Gas Turbine digital twins for analysis and studies, and helps develop monitoring rules to support issue detection and performance analysis.

How You’ll Make an Impact
• the service continuous performance analysis programs to evaluate power plant operation and equipment condition.
• Work with existing digital twins to perform off-design evaluations
• Documenting and reporting observations to customers, providing recommendations to address detected findings
• Setting up Gas Turbine digital twins for analysis purposes

· Improve and update existing tools and processes i.e.



proposing diagnostics rules for the improvement of the automatic abnormal operations alerts
• Support the development of current monitoring software tools
• Perform and evaluate combustion turbine and combined cycle performance tests

· Provide estimated performance data for both internal and external customers
· Close collaboration with our service and engineering organizations for performance enhancements.
What You Bring
• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or higher degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with knowledge of thermodynamics and power plant process / control theory is required, particularly as relates to Brayton, Rankine, and Combined Cycle thermodynamics.
• 5+ years of successful experience in power plant operations and successful demonstration of responsibilities and knowledge as presented above
• Proficient knowledge and experience with operations of Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, and Generators in power generation applications
