The Billing Operator cum Computer Operator will manage billing operations, computer-based administrative tasks, and export documentation for a publishing company. The role requires proficiency in MS Excel, billing/accounting software, and knowledge of export procedures to ensure smooth handling of domestic and international publishing transactions.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and generate invoices, bills, and receipts for book sales (domestic & export).
Maintain accurate billing records in accounting/billing software (e.g., Tally, Spring time Software).
Use MS Excel for data analysis, sales reports, royalty calculations, and financial summaries.
Handle export documentation: shipping bills, packing lists, invoices, certificates of origin, and customs paperwork for book shipments.
Coordinate with logistics partners, customs agents, and freight forwarders for export consignments.
Ensure compliance with publishing industry regulations, GST, and export-import policies.
Track outstanding payments and follow up with distributors, retailers, and export clients.
Support accounts and administration teams in royalty management, author payments, and vendor billing.
Perform routine computer operations including data entry, email communication,



and database management.

Required Skills & Competencies
Robust knowledge of billing procedures and accounting basics.
Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, reporting).
Hands-on experience with billing/accounting software.
Familiarity with export documentation and customs procedures (specific to publishing/export of books).
Good typing speed and accuracy in data entry.
Robust communication skills for coordination with authors, distributors, and logistics partners.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications
Graduate
Diploma/Certification in Computer Applications or Accounting Software preferred.
Knowledge of export-import documentation and publishing industry processes is essential.
Experience: 2–4 years in billing/accounts/computer operations, preferably in publishing or export-related roles.

Work Setting
Full-time, office-based role in a publishing company.
Requires coordination with finance, editorial, sales, and export departments.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
