Art Teacher – Job Description

Position: Art Teacher

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct engaging art classes for students.
Teach drawing, painting, craft, sketching, and other creative activities.
Encourage creativity, imagination, and artistic expression.
Prepare lesson plans and classroom activities as per the curriculum.
Assess students’ artwork and provide constructive feedback.
Organize art exhibitions, competitions, and school events.
Maintain art materials and ensure proper use of resources.
Create a positive, protected, and encouraging learning setting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fine Arts or equivalent qualification.
B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification preferred.
Positive knowledge of drawing, painting, craft, and various art techniques.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach towards teaching.
Ability to work effectively with students of different age groups.
Prior teaching experience in a school will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹12,050.04 - ₹25,000.00 per month
