We are looking for a detail-oriented Documentation Executive to handle shipping and logistics documentation and coordinate with customers, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth movement of shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and verify import/export shipping documentation.
Handle documentation related to Sea Freight and Air Freight shipments.
Prepare and coordinate Bill of Lading (BL), Air Waybill (AWB), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, Bill of Entry, and other relevant documents.
Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, CHA/customs brokers, transporters, and customers.
Ensure documentation is accurate and submitted within required timelines.
Track shipment documentation and follow up on pending requirements.
Coordinate with the operations team for shipment updates and document submission.
Maintain proper records of shipment and customer documentation.
Check documents for discrepancies and coordinate corrections where required.
Assist with customs clearance and other regulatory documentation.
Update shipment details in internal systems and maintain documentation trackers.
Handle customer queries related to shipment and documentation status.
Ensure proper filing and archiving of physical and electronic documents.
Required Skills
Good understanding of Freight Forwarding and Logistics documentation.
Knowledge of Import & Export processes.
Familiarity with Sea Freight / Air Freight documentation.
Valuable knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Robust follow-up and time-management skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
