Key Responsibilities
Collect, process, and assess sperm and oocytes (eggs).
Perform procedures such as IVF (in-vitro fertilization) and ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection).
Handle and culture embryos under controlled laboratory conditions.
Monitor embryo development and document embryo quality.
Perform embryo freezing (cryopreservation) and thawing.
Prepare embryos and reproductive material for transfer procedures.
Maintain laboratory equipment, incubators, and quality-control systems.
Follow strict SOPs, infection-control procedures, and laboratory safety standards.
Maintain accurate patient records and laboratory documentation.
Coordinate with fertility specialists, nurses, and other laboratory staff.
Participate in quality assurance, audits, and laboratory accreditation activities.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable ethical and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology,
Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Specialized training or experience in Clinical Embryology/Assisted Reproductive Technology is highly desirable.
Practical experience in an IVF laboratory is preferred for experienced positions.
