nRole -
nThe primary objective is to drive on-ground implementation and management of Internal Control Systems (ICS) for certified organic grower groups. Responsible for internal audits, and exhaustive documentation to guarantee 100% compliance
n
nKey Responsibilities
nOn-Ground Documentation & Data Management
n
n
Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation for all registered farmers (Farmer Diaries, Farm History Sheets, and Land Maps). Cover 3 ICS in a monthn
Perform timely data entries into traceability software platforms (e.g., APEDA’s Tracenet for NPOP standards in India).n
Ensure all recent farmers read, understand, and sign membership agreements and pledge formn
Document yields, storage conditions, and purchase records to maintain a transparent audit trailn

nInternal Auditing & Inspection

Manage documentation related to crop risk assessments, input approvals, and seed sourcen
Conduct routine internal inspections and surprise visits of member farms to verify adherence to organic standards (NPOP, NOP, or EU regulations).n
Fill out internal inspection checklists accurately and identify any non-conformances (NCs).n
Assist the ICS Manager and external third-party certification auditors during annual audits.n

nQualifications & Requirements
n
n
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, or a related field.n
Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in organic agriculture, preferably handling ICS documentation for farmer producer organizations (FPOs) or organic export companies.n
Knowledge: Understanding of the National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP) or other international organic guidelines.n
Skills: Solid proficiency in local languages - (preferred Telugu for South), basic computer literacy for documentation, and willingness to travel extensively within rural farming clusters.n
