Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Node.Js, TypeScript, distributed systems, microservices, and AWS cloud technologies.

The role will focus on designing, developing, scaling, and supporting highly available backend services and APIs for customer-facing applications. The ideal candidate will have strong ownership of backend architecture, application performance, production reliability, security, observability, and cloud-native engineering practices.

Experience with React and/or Java/Spring Boot is a plus but not mandatory.

Minimum Qualifications
7–9 years of overall software engineering experience, including at least 5 years of solid backend development experience.
Strong hands-on programming experience with Node.Js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Robust experience developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservice-based applications.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.




Experience designing and developing scalable and maintainable distributed systems.
Strong hands-on experience with Amazon DynamoDB, including:
Partition key and sort key design
Global and local secondary indexes
Query and access-pattern-based data modeling
Performance and scalability considerations
Robust experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
Experience developing asynchronous, queue-based, and event-driven workflows.
Experience building secure, resilient, scalable, and highly available applications.
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or equivalent.
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins or equivalent platforms.
Strong experience with Git-based source control and development workflows.
Strong understanding of application monitoring, debugging, observability, incident management, and production support.
