Backend Developer 1 to 4 years experience | In office, Kanchrapara

OBS Digital Services is looking for a Backend Developer to join our team in office in Kanchrapara. You‘ll work on [client projects / our own products swap in whichever applies] building and maintaining the server side of real applications that are already in use.

What you‘ll do

Build and maintain REST APIs and backend logic for [web applications / client projects]
/n
Design and work with databases writing efficient queries, not just CRUD
/n
Fix bugs in existing code and understand systems you didn‘t originally write
/n
Integrate third-party APIs (payments, SMS, email, auth, etc. as needed)
/n
Work with the frontend team to make sure the API actually fits what the screen needs
/n
Deploy and monitor your own code not just hand it off and forget it
/n

What we‘re looking for

/n

/n
14 years of hands-on backend development experience
/n
Solid with [Node.js/Express or PHP/Laravel,



or Python/Django pick what matches your stack] and SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) or MongoDB
/n
Comfortable writing and debugging your own code without step-by-step hand-holding
/n
Understanding of REST API design, authentication (JWT/sessions), and basic security practices
/n
Git for version control comfortable with branches and resolving conflicts
/n
Able to read an error message and find the actual cause, not just search-and-paste a fix
/n

Nice to have

/n

/n
Experience with [Docker / AWS or any cloud hosting / CI-CD]
/n
Exposure to a frontend framework (React, Vue) enough to talk to frontend devs in their language

Prior experience in a client-services or agency environment, handling multiple projects
