Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, monitor, and manage enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
- Troubleshoot backup failures, storage, connectivity, agent, and performance issues.
- Perform file, application, VM, system, and bare-metal restores.
- Configure backup policies, schedules, retention, encryption, and replication.
- Manage backup infrastructure, including servers, agents, proxies, and repositories.
- Support VMware, Hyper-V, physical server, and cloud backup environments.
- Conduct backup health checks, recovery testing, and support disaster recovery operations.
- Maintain technical documentation and coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:

- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Acronis
- Veritas Backup Exec / NetBackup
- Commvault
- Dell EMC Data Protection

Good knowledge of VMware vSphere/ESXi and Hyper-V.





Experience with Windows & Linux Server administration.

Knowledge of SAN/NAS, RAID, SMB/NFS, iSCSI, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

Understanding of backup strategies, retention policies, replication, and disaster recovery (RPO/RTO).

Candidate Profile

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in backup and data protection.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
- Candidates based in Mumbai preferred.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period preferred.

Preferred Certifications: Veeam VMCE, Acronis, Veritas, Commvault, Microsoft, or VMware.

Pay: ₹374,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
