Job Summary

Willmount Resorts is looking for an experienced and passionate all rounder Chef to lead our kitchen operations across our resort properties. The ideal candidate should have the ability to maintain high food quality, develop innovative menus, lead kitchen teams, and ensure efficient kitchen operations while delivering exceptional guest dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and ensure smooth workflow.
- Plan, develop, and standardize menus for South Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisines.
- Prepare and maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Lead, train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Monitor food production, portion control, and quality assurance.
- Manage kitchen inventory, stock levels, and food cost effectively.
- Coordinate with the Purchase team for sourcing quality ingredients and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Reduce food wastage and implement cost-control measures.
- Plan seasonal menus, special promotions,



and festival buffets.
- Ensure timely preparation and service during breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and special events.
- Handle guest feedback professionally and implement improvements where required.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure preventive maintenance is carried out.
- Work closely with Operations and Resort Management to achieve guest satisfaction and revenue targets.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a resort, hotel, or restaurant.
- Expertise in Continental, South Indian and Chinese cuisine is mandatory.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food costing, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
