Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Security Monitoring Engineer / Salesforce Developer with 6–8 years of experience and strong expertise in Salesforce Security Architecture, Event Monitoring, Salesforce Shield, and security monitoring solutions.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience implementing and reviewing Salesforce security models, analyzing security events, identifying suspicious activities, and integrating Salesforce security telemetry with enterprise SIEM platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the overall Salesforce Security Model.
- Architect and review existing/new Salesforce security models based on business requirements.
- Design and implement security monitoring and reporting solutions.
- Build monitoring dashboards and security-related reporting solutions.
- Develop automation and monitoring workflows.
- Build integrations for security signal/event collection.
- Support Salesforce Event Monitoring and Security Center evaluations and POCs.
- Develop monitoring-related data models and technical components.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation guides, and operational documentation.
Mandatory Skills – Salesforce Event Monitoring
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Event Monitoring / Shield Event Monitoring.
- Strong experience analyzing:
- Login and authentication activity
- API usage
- Report/export activity
- URI/page access
- Bulk API activity
- Lightning interactions
- Permission and configuration changes
- Experience with EventLogFile, Event Monitoring Analytics, and near-real-time events.
- Ability to identify abnormal behavior, suspicious access, and potential data exfiltration.
Salesforce Security Architecture
Robust understanding of:
- Salesforce Profiles
- Permission Sets & Permission Set Groups
- Roles
- Organization-Wide Defaults (OWD)
- Sharing Rules and Salesforce sharing model
- MFA and SSO
- OAuth and Connected Apps
- Session security
- IP restrictions
- Login policies and trusted networks
- Security assessments and identification of overly permissive access
Experience with Transaction Security is highly preferred, particularly the ability to move from security event monitoring and threat detection toward automated security responses.
SIEM / Security Operations Integration
Experience integrating Salesforce security telemetry with enterprise SIEM platforms such as:
- Splunk
- Microsoft Sentinel
- IBM QRadar
- Other SIEM platforms
The candidate should be able to demonstrate experience implementing or supporting use cases such as:
- Detecting large or unusual report exports
- Identifying excessive API data extraction
- Detecting suspicious login patterns
- Identifying logins from unexpected IP addresses/locations
- Detecting unauthorized access to sensitive records
- Monitoring abnormal user behavior
- Identifying compromised integration/service accounts
- Detecting changes to permissions or privileged access
- Monitoring unusual Connected App/OAuth activity
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 6–8 years of relevant Salesforce experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Security and Event Monitoring.
- Experience with Salesforce Shield and security monitoring.
- Good understanding of enterprise security operations and SIEM integrations.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to create technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month
