Job Summary

Lake Palace Thiruvananthapuram is looking for a dynamic and guest-focused F&B; Executive to join our Food & Beverage team.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of restaurant and hotel F&B; operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver high standards of guest service. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining service quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily Food & Beverage operations.
- Ensure smooth and efficient restaurant/service operations.
- Welcome guests and ensure a warm, professional dining experience.
- Take care of guest requirements, feedback, and service-related concerns.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure timely service.
- Monitor food and beverage service standards and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Assist in staff scheduling, briefing, training, and daily task allocation.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and proper handling of F&B; items.
- Assist with cost control and minimize wastage.
- Maintain proper records and reports related to F&B; operations.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Support banquet,



events, and special functions whenever required.
- Ensure the restaurant/service area is clean, organized, and ready for operation.
- Assist the F&B; Manager in achieving departmental goals and maintaining operational standards.

Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in F&B; operations, preferably in a hotel or reputed restaurant.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Guest-oriented attitude with a strong focus on service quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle busy operations.
- Good knowledge of hygiene and safety standards.
- Basic knowledge of F&B; cost control and inventory management will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
