Job Responsibilities

- Operate CNC and VMC machines safely and efficiently.
- Set and operate machines as per production requirements.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Perform tool setting, offset correction, and basic machine adjustments.
- Check component dimensions using vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Follow production schedules and maintain required cycle times.
- Monitor machining quality and identify defects during production.
- Carry out basic troubleshooting and report machine/tool problems to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow safety procedures.
- Maintain production and inspection records as required.

Required Skills

- Experience in CNC/VMC machine operation and setting.
- Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc / Siemens is preferred.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.




- Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, speeds, feeds, and tool offsets.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T; and measurement instruments.
- Valuable understanding of machining processes and quality requirements.

Qualification

- 12th Pass / ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant technical qualification.
- Relevant practical experience will also be considered.
