Job Description

We are a professional wedding photography studio based in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, looking for a smart, creative, and organised candidate to join our team as a Social Media Executive & Studio Operations Admin.

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the studio’s social media presence across Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms. The candidate will be responsible for researching current trends, planning content calendars, curating content from our studio archives, coordinating with photo and video editors, scheduling posts, and monitoring social media performance to improve reach, views, and audience engagement.

Additionally, the role involves handling client inquiries, WhatsApp messages, follow-ups, and general administrative tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the studio.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Executive:

- Manage the studio’s Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms, ensuring consistent posting and maintaining a content calendar.
- Research trending Reels, audio, hashtags, and content formats.
- Analyse engagement and curate relevant wedding photographs and videos from the studio archives.
- Coordinate with photo and video editors to prepare social media content, review deliverables, and ensure timely publishing with appropriate captions, tags, hashtags, and keywords.
- Implement strategies to improve social media performance.





Studio Operations:

- Handle the client queries via WhatsApp, phone, and email promptly and professionally
- Manage and maintain all studio documentation, contracts, and records
- Scheduling and maintaining the daily tasks for the team members.
- Follow up with team members to ensure schedules and deadlines are met

Requirements

- Good communication skills in Tamil and English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in using MS Office, MS Excel, Instagram and other social media.
- Solid organisational and multitasking abilities
- A creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics and themes
- Prior experience in a similar role or in the photography/events industry is an advantage
- Ability to handle client interactions professionally and with patience
