Legal Associate – Litigation

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to assist in and, where appropriate, independently handle and manage litigation matters, including:

- Handling DRT matters and related proceedings
- Assisting in SARFAESI and recovery proceedings
- Drafting Legal Notices, Applications, Replies, Rejoinders, Written Submissions and other legal pleadings
- Conducting legal research and preparing case briefs and notes
- Reviewing and analyzing legal documents and case records
- Assisting in matters before DRT, Civil Courts and other Courts/Tribunals, as required
- Coordinating with clients, banks, financial institutions and other concerned parties
- Maintaining case files, preparing matters for hearings and following up on proceedings

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who has:

✅ LL.B. degree and valid enrollment as an Advocate

✅ Good knowledge of DRT, SARFAESI and Litigation matters

✅ Strong drafting and legal research skills

✅ Good understanding of legal procedures and court practices

✅ Ability to analyze case documents and prepare matters effectively

✅ Positive communication and interpersonal skills

✅ Willingness to learn and take responsibility for assigned matters

Experience





Junior Advocates / Legal Associates having relevant experience in DRT, SARFAESI, Banking Law and Litigation may apply.

Candidates with prior experience in handling matters for Banks, Financial Institutions, NBFCs or ARCs will be preferred.
