KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Agency Relationship Building

Build long-term relationships with advertising and creative agencies across Mumbai and India.

Develop relationships with:

Creative Directors

Executive Creative Directors

Agency Producers

Executive Producers

Account Directors

Account Managers

Creative Producers

Head of Production

Innovation / AI teams

Agency Founders

Business Heads

Understand what agencies are working on and where our capabilities can fit.

Work toward getting the studio considered as a preferred / trusted production partner for relevant projects.

2. Business Development

Identify and approach new agencies, brands and production opportunities.

Research:

Advertising agencies

Creative agencies

Digital agencies

Brand marketing teams

D2C brands

Production companies

Startups with significant marketing activity

Entertainment/content companies

Build a structured prospect pipeline and continuously develop new relationships.

Generate meetings, presentations, brief discussions and project opportunities.

3. Pitch Our Capabilities

Understand our capabilities and communicate them clearly to potential clients.

You should be able to explain how our studio can help with:

AI-generated advertisements

Brand films

Product films

AI-assisted commercials

Social content

Micro-dramas

Entertainment content

Concept films

Pre-visualisation

Impossible / difficult-to-shoot visual sequences

AI + live-action production

Generative AI workflows

You do not need to personally create these videos.

You need to understand enough about them to identify:

“This is a project where our studio can add value.”

4. Understand THE BRIEF

When an agency or brand approaches us, you should be able to understand:

What is the client trying to achieve?

Who is the target audience?

What is the creative idea?

What are the deliverables?

What is the timeline?

What is the approximate budget?

What needs to be produced?

Is AI actually useful for this project?

What should we take back to the creative/production team?

You will work with our creative and production team to turn the opportunity into a proper proposal.

5. Manage The Opportunity From Lead To Project

You will coordinate the commercial side of opportunities through:

Lead → Introduction → Meeting → Brief → Internal Discussion → Proposal → Pitch → Negotiation → Closure → Handover to Production

You will maintain follow-ups and make sure opportunities do not disappear after the first meeting.

6. Build A Strong Agency Network

We are particularly interested in candidates who can bring an existing professional network.

Existing relationships are valuable, but integrity and the ability to build new relationships are equally important.

You will be expected to continuously expand the network rather than depend only on existing contacts.

7. AI & NEW-AGE ADVERTISING

The advertising industry is changing rapidly.

AI is changing how agencies and production companies think about:

Pre-production

Visual development

Production

VFX

Content creation

Versioning

Social content

Cost and turnaround

Creative experimentation

You don't need to be a technical AI filmmaker.

But you should be curious about AI and understand the basic capabilities of tools and workflows such as:

Generative AI video

AI image generation

AI filmmaking

AI VFX

AI editing

Character consistency

Text-to-video

Image-to-video

AI-assisted production

You should be able to have an intelligent conversation with a client about where AI can and cannot add value.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Must Have

2–5 years of experience in business development, client servicing, account management, agency partnerships, production or advertising

Experience working with advertising / creative / digital agencies or brands

Strong communication and presentation skills

Solid relationship-building ability

Comfortable meeting clients in person

Comfortable making calls and sending professional outreach

Ability to understand advertising and creative briefs

Strong follow-up discipline

Ability to manage a sales pipeline

Commercial understanding

Skilled presentation and personality

Willingness to work from office in Mumbai

Strong Preference

Candidates who have:

Existing relationships within advertising agencies

Worked with Creative Directors / Agency Producers / Account Directors

Sold advertising or production services

Worked at an advertising or creative agency

Worked at a production house

Worked on brand campaigns

Experience selling video/content/creative services

Existing Mumbai agency network

Experience bringing in production briefs

You will not be sitting and making hundreds of random calls every day.

The objective is to build a high-quality professional network.

One strong relationship with an agency producer can potentially lead to multiple briefs over time.

One strong relationship with a Creative Director can introduce us to completely different kinds of projects.
