About Pots & Petals

Pots & Petals is an e-commerce business specializing in orchids, aquatic plants, and other specialty plants. We are looking for a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to help grow our online presence, create engaging content, promote our products, and increase online sales.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable combining creative content creation with performance marketing and should have a good understanding of social media, digital advertising, and e-commerce.

This is primarily an office-based desk role, with occasional product photography and video recording as required for marketing content.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns for Pots & Petals.
- Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant social media platforms.
- Create engaging content including posts, stories, reels, promotional creatives, and product-related content.
- Record and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, advertisements, and other marketing purposes.
- Photograph plants and products when required and prepare images for website and social media use.
- Plan promotional campaigns for new plant arrivals, special collections, seasonal offers, and product launches.
- Manage and optimize Meta/Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.
- Monitor advertising performance, including sales, conversions, cost per purchase, ROAS, and other important metrics.
- Identify successful campaigns and make improvements to underperforming campaigns.
- Coordinate product promotions with the company's e-commerce website.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, including product promotions, new arrivals, and special offers.
- Write engaging captions, promotional copy, product-related content, and marketing messages.
- Assist with basic SEO and website content optimization.
- Research competitors, plant-related trends, social media trends, and current marketing opportunities.
- Monitor website traffic, campaign performance, social media engagement, and online sales.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing activities and campaign performance.
- Work closely with the management team to develop new ideas for increasing brand awareness and online sales.

Skills & Requirements

- Experience in digital marketing, social media marketing, or a similar role.
- Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Meta Business Suite, and Meta Ads Manager.
- Experience creating and editing social media videos and reels.
- Basic product photography and content creation skills.
- Ability to use tools such as Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar editing software.
- Good written communication skills in English.
- Ability to write attractive social media captions and promotional content.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce and online customer behaviour.
- Comfortable working with marketing data and campaign performance reports.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to independently plan and complete assigned marketing tasks.




- Must be comfortable working full time from our office in Edathala, Pukkattupady.

The role is primarily desk-based and computer-oriented, with work carried out in a comfortable, air-conditioned office environment. Occasional photography and video recording of plants and products will also be part of the role.
