Position: Equity Dealer
Department: Equity / Capital Markets
Reporting To: Branch Manager / Team Leader / Regional Head

Job Summary

The Equity Dealer is responsible for executing buy and sell orders for clients in equity and derivatives markets, providing market updates, ensuring timely trade execution, maintaining client relationships, and adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements. The role requires strong market knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute client orders accurately and efficiently on NSE/BSE trading platforms.
- Provide real-time market updates, trading ideas, and investment opportunities to clients.
- Monitor client portfolios, exposure limits, margins, and risk parameters.
- Ensure timely trade confirmations and end-of-day reconciliation.
- Maintain solid relationships with existing clients and support client acquisition activities.
- Resolve client queries related to trading, settlements, margins, and account operations.
- Coordinate with research, operations, and compliance teams for seamless client servicing.
- Generate brokerage revenue through increased client engagement and trading activity.
- Cross-sell financial products such as Mutual Funds, Bonds, PMS, Insurance, and IPOs where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI, NSE, BSE, and internal company policies.
- Maintain proper records of trades, client interactions, and regulatory documentation.




- Stay updated with market developments, economic news, corporate actions, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) Certification preferred/mandatory.
- 1–5 years of experience in Equity Dealing, Stock Broking, or Capital Markets.
- Knowledge of NSE, BSE, Equity Cash, Derivatives, and Trading Platforms (ODIN, NEST, NOW, etc.).

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of capital markets and equity trading.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure during market hours.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and trading software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Daily trading volume and brokerage generation.
- Client retention and satisfaction.
- New client acquisition.
- Accuracy of trade execution.
- Compliance adherence and zero dealing errors.
- Cross-selling and revenue generation from investment products.

- NISM-certified professional with experience in stock broking.
- Strong network of retail and HNI clients.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
