About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and scale our infrastructure automation, cloud/on-prem provisioning, and CI/CD ecosystem. You will work across the full infrastructure lifecycle — from network and subnet design, VM/compute provisioning, and Kubernetes platform operations, to building resilient Jenkins pipelines and managing source control governance on Azure Repos.

This is a hands-on senior role for someone comfortable owning infrastructure-as-code end-to-end and mentoring a small team.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Provisioning & Network Planning

- Design and manage VM provisioning workflows across virtualization platforms such as ESXi, VMware/vSphere, and/or cloud environments.
- Manage template creation, sizing, lifecycle governance, and provisioning workflows.
- Plan and manage IP Address Management (IPAM), subnetting, VLAN allocation, and CIDR design across data centers/regions.
- Ensure proper IP reservation controls and prevent network/subnet overlap.

Kubernetes & Container Platform

- Own Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, including provisioning, upgrades, namespace governance, ingress configuration, and RBAC across environments.
- Automate application deployments to Kubernetes using Helm charts and Argo CD.
- Troubleshoot cluster-level and workload-level issues across compute, networking, and storage layers.

CI/CD & Automation

- Design, build, and maintain robust Jenkins pipelines using declarative/scripted pipelines for build, testing,



and multi-environment deployment automation.
- Build Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and/or Ansible for repeatable, auditable provisioning of VMs, networks, and Kubernetes resources.
- implement policy-as-code using tools such as OPA/Rego for provisioning guardrails, testing, and staged rollouts.
- Platform Reliability & Governance
- Maintain CMDB/CSDM-aligned configuration tracking for infrastructure CIs, including VMs, clusters, subnets, and services.
- Define monitoring, alerting, and incident escalation paths for infrastructure drift, IP conflicts, and pipeline failures.
- Drive documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing across the DevOps/Platform team.

Leadership & Collaboration

- Mentor junior/mid-level DevOps engineers and review their automation code and pipeline designs.
- Participate in architecture reviews and provide input on platform roadmap decisions Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of recent hands-on Development and/or DevOps experience, including strong experience working with On-Premises infrastructure.
- DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in a senior/lead capacity.
- Strong hands-on experience with VM provisioning on ESXi, VMware/vSphere, Nutanix, KVM, or equivalent hypervisors.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: subnetting, VLANs,



CIDR planning, IPAM, and static/DHCP IP assignment.
- Production experience managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/on-prem), including deployments, namespaces, RBAC, ingress, and troubleshooting.
- Solid experience building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines using Groovy/declarative pipelines for CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Repos or Git/GitHub/GitLab, including branching strategies, pull request workflows, and pipeline integration.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with policy-as-code tools such as OPA/Rego and CMDB/CSDM concepts is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of secrets management using Vault or equivalent tools and security best practices in pipelines.
- Working experience with SRE or DevOps agents

Nice to Have

- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/CMDB platforms.
- Certifications such as CKA, Terraform Associate, or equivalent cloud/infra certifications.

Soft Skills

- Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive platform decisions independently.
- Ability to mentor and review the work of junior engineers.
- Clear written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration with Application, Security, and Network teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving infrastructure environment.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per year
