JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting practices, payroll processing, GST coordination, and financial reporting. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance requirements, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth financial operations of the organization.

Qualification:

- B.Com/ M.Com or equivalent qualification in Commerce or Accounting.

Experience:

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Accounts, preferably in a retail, trading, or showroom environment.
- Experience in handling end-to-end accounting operations will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
- Handle purchase entries, sales records, payments, receipts, and account reconciliations.
- Process monthly payroll, salary payments, incentives,



deductions, and payroll records.
- Coordinate GST filing and statutory compliance with external consultants.
- Guide Billing Staff and Cashier and ensure proper billing and cash handling procedures.
- Prepare daily financial reports, maintain documentation, and support audits and management reviews.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Experience in purchase entries, payroll processing, and financial transactions.
- Basic knowledge of GST and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Solid analytical and reconciliation skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to guide and coordinate with Billing Staff and Cashier.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Integrity, accountability, and confidentiality in handling financial information.
