We are looking for a Business Development Officer to join our Study Abroad team. The role involves developing new business opportunities, managing prospective student enquiries, building institutional relationships, and supporting student recruitment and business growth.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication, networking, follow-up, and relationship-management skills, along with an interest in the international education sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the study-abroad sector.
- Handle and follow up with prospective student leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals, events, and other sources.
- Understand students' study-abroad requirements and provide relevant information about available opportunities.
- Coordinate with the counselling and admissions teams to support lead conversion and student enrolment.
- Develop relationships with schools, colleges, educational institutions, and referral partners.
- Identify potential business and institutional partnership opportunities.
- Conduct regular follow-ups through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and meetings.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, workshops, and promotional activities.
- Work closely with the marketing team to support lead-generation activities.




- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, conversions, and business-development activities.
- Prepare regular reports on business-development activities and results.
- Research current study destinations, universities, courses, and market opportunities.
- Work towards assigned business-development and student-enrolment targets.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Student Recruitment, or Overseas Education is preferred.
- Experience in the Study Abroad / International Education industry will be an advantage.
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good negotiation, networking, and follow-up abilities.
- Comfortable communicating with students, parents, institutions, and business partners.
- Ability to work with targets and deadlines.
- Good knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
- Willingness to attend meetings, seminars, education fairs, and institutional visits when required.

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
