Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Computer Hardware Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure smooth operation of computers, peripherals, and network-connected devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose and repair hardware problems involving RAM, hard drives/SSDs, motherboards, power supplies, monitors, keyboards, mice, and other components.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems, drivers, applications, and security software.
- Provide first-level and second-level desktop and technical support to employees.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Windows, Microsoft Office, email, printers, internet connectivity, and system performance.
- Perform computer formatting, OS installation, system upgrades, data backup, and hardware replacement.
- Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration, DNS, DHCP, and network connectivity issues.
- Configure and maintain printers, scanners, UPS systems, and other office equipment.
- Maintain an updated IT asset inventory and record hardware allocation, repairs, replacements, and warranties.
- Monitor system health and perform regular preventive maintenance.
- Install and update antivirus, security patches, drivers, and required software.
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs, AMC services, and warranty claims.
- Maintain proper documentation of support tickets and technical issues.
- Ensure IT systems comply with company security and data-protection policies.
- Provide remote and in office technical support whenever required.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Knowledge of computer assembly, installation, and hardware upgrades.
- Ability to troubleshoot printers and other peripherals.
- Basic understanding of antivirus and endpoint security.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple support requests.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
- Certifications such as A+, Network+, MCITP, or equivalent will be an advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in desktop support, hardware troubleshooting, IT support, or a similar role.
- Freshers with solid technical knowledge and practical hardware experience may also be considered.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
