Job Summary

Lake Palace Thiruvananthapuram is looking for a responsible, hardworking, and service-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our housekeeping team.

The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout the hotel.

Experienced candidates are preferred, and freshers with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for hospitality are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, public areas, and other assigned areas.
- Ensure guest rooms are cleaned and prepared according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, change bed linen, towels, and other room amenities as required.
- Replenish guest room supplies and amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of assigned areas at all times.
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the supervisor.
- Handle guest belongings and hotel property responsibly.
- Assist with laundry, linen handling, and other housekeeping duties when required.
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and storage areas.
- Follow hotel standards for hygiene, safety, and guest service.




- Respond politely and professionally to guest requests.
- Coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other hotel departments when required.
- Follow daily work schedules and complete assigned tasks within the required time.
- Assist during high-occupancy periods, events, and special requirements.

Requirements

- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping will be an advantage.
- Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
- Good personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties.
- Good attention to detail.
- Hardworking, punctual, and reliable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
