Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble, install, and dismantle mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications.
- Align shafts, bearings, couplings, pumps, motors, and other mechanical components.
- Identify mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and workshop equipment safely.
- Carry out fabrication, fitting, cutting, drilling, grinding, and basic machining work when required.
- Inspect equipment and components for wear, damage, and proper operation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment issues to supervisors.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in the work area.

Requirements





- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Fitting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related trade.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role.
- Good knowledge of mechanical tools, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, bearings, valves, couplings, and rotating equipment is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work shifts or overtime when required.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
