Job Description – Chartered Accountant (CA)

Position: Chartered Accountant

Department: Finance & Accounts

Location: Chandigarh

Reporting To: Finance Head- Managing director

Role Objective

To manage and oversee the company’s financial accounting, taxation, compliance, reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and financial analysis, ensuring accuracy, statutory compliance, and effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing.

* Prepare and review P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and MIS reports.

* Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act and other statutory requirements.

* Manage GST returns, reconciliations, tax assessments and audits.

* Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants and regulatory authorities.

* Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, working capital and cash flows.

* Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis to support management decisions.

* Strengthen internal financial controls, SOPs and accounting processes.

* Review costing, product profitability and manufacturing expenses.

* Ensure proper accounting and control of inventory,



fixed assets, capex and depreciation.

* Support management in financial planning, cost optimization and business expansion projects.

* Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

* Ensure accurate and timely MIS and management reporting.

* Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.

Key Skills & Competencies

* Strong knowledge of Accounting, Taxation, GST and Financial Reporting

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Solid understanding of manufacturing accounting and cost control

* Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel

* Good communication and stakeholder-management skills

* Strong attention to detail, integrity and compliance orientation

Qualification & Experience

* CA – Chartered Accountant from ICAI

* Typically 8–12 years of relevant post-qualification experience

* Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

* Exposure to multi-location operations, audits, taxation and ERP will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹1,100,500.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
