Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repair: Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on heavy industrial machinery, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and rotating equipment. [1, 2 Perform accurate coupling, leveling, and shaft alignments using precision measuring tools. [1]
- Technical Diagnostics: Troubleshoot mechanical failures, identify abnormal vibrations, leaks, or overheating, and replace worn components like bearings and mechanical seals.
- Follow plant safety rules, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) protocols, and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
- Education: ITI in Fitter / Mechanical Trade or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3years of hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance experience depending on the scale of the facility.
