Production EngineerJob Summary

We are looking for a Production Engineer to oversee and improve manufacturing processes, ensure smooth production operations, maintain quality standards, and optimize productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, monitor, and coordinate daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned schedule.
- Monitor production processes and identify bottlenecks, defects, and downtime.
- Improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, and other departments.
- Analyze production data, prepare reports, and track key performance indicators.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions for production-related issues.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain production records, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Train and guide production operators on processes,



safety, and quality requirements.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and resources.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production setting.
- Knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with quality systems and tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and basic root-cause analysis.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
- Ability to work in shifts, if required.
