WORKING CONDITION  Working hours 10:00 am - 7.30 pm from Monday to Saturday (Sunday is a weekly off).  Primarily office-based.

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Estimator to prepare accurate project estimates, cost sheets, quotations, and commercial proposals for interior design and related projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, measurements, materials, labour requirements, and other project inputs to determine overall project costs.

Candidates should have strong mathematical, calculation, costing, and estimation skills. Candidates from other educational backgrounds may also be considered if they studied Mathematics in Class 12.

Education

- Graduate in a relevant discipline with Mathematics in Class 12.
- Diploma in Engineering or relevant technical discipline preferred.
- Strong numerical and calculation skills are essential.

Experience

- Fresh Engineering graduates with solid mathematical, analytical, and Excel skills may also apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare project estimates, quotations, cost sheets, and commercial proposals.
- Analyze client requirements, drawings, measurements, specifications, and scope of work.
- Calculate material, labour, transportation, installation, and other project costs.
- Conduct rate analysis and maintain accurate costing records.
- Obtain and compare current material rates from vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with Design, Project, Purchase, Management, and Sales teams.




- Prepare revised quotations based on changes in design, materials, scope, or client requirements.
- Identify project variations and additional costs.
- Review quotations for quantities, rates, calculations, taxes, margins, and terms before submission.
- Track quotation status and coordinate for revisions or clarifications.
- Maintain confidentiality of pricing, costing, margins, vendor rates, and commercial information.
- Ensure estimates and quotations are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Monitor and track estimate status and outcomes.

Required Skills

- Strong numerical and calculation skills involving quantities, measurements, rates, percentages, margins, and costs.
- Knowledge of material costing, labour costing, rate analysis, and project estimation.
- Ability to read and understand basic architectural, interior, structural, or technical drawings.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate with suppliers and maintain updated material rates.
- Understanding of pricing, margins, taxes, discounts, procurement costs, and project profitability.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, tables, calculations, and cost sheets.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and quotations within deadlines.
