Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. The candidate will be responsible for accurate dispensing of medicines, maintaining medication records, ensuring proper storage of medicines, and supporting safe and effective medication management.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Verify prescriptions for correct medicine, dosage, strength, and quantity.
- Provide appropriate instructions to patients regarding medication usage.
- Maintain accurate records of medicines issued, received, and returned.
- Monitor medicine stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment.
- Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage of medicines.
- Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices.
- Maintain proper records for controlled/scheduled medicines as per applicable regulations.




- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related requirements.
- Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the pharmacy.
- Assist in inventory management, stock verification, and periodic physical stock audits.
- Report medication discrepancies, damaged medicines, and stock issues to the concerned authority.
- Follow hospital infection control, patient safety, and quality standards.

Qualification

- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
- Candidates with hospital pharmacy experience will be preferred.

Experience

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a hospital or healthcare pharmacy preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
