Job Description

Berkeley Hyundai is looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Body Shop Advisor to join our Body Shop team. The candidate will be responsible for handling accident and body repair customers, preparing repair estimates, coordinating with insurance companies and surveyors, and ensuring timely vehicle delivery with a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive customers and understand their vehicle damage and repair requirements.
- Inspect vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates.
- Create and maintain job cards for body repair work.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and surveyors for claim processing and approvals.
- Explain repair procedures, estimated costs, and timelines to customers.
- Coordinate with denting, painting, mechanical, and other workshop teams.
- Monitor vehicle repair progress and provide regular updates to customers.
- Ensure repairs are completed as per approved estimates and quality standards.
- Coordinate parts availability and repair requirements with the concerned departments.
- Conduct final vehicle inspection before delivery.
- Ensure timely and proper delivery of repaired vehicles.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance claims, estimates, approvals, and invoices.




- Follow dealership and Hyundai body-shop processes and standards.

Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 1–4 years of experience in an automobile body shop or service centre.
- Experience in insurance claims and accident repair processes will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of denting, painting, and vehicle repair processes.
- Strong customer-handling and communication skills.
- Good computer knowledge and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with customers, technicians, surveyors, and insurance companies.
- Candidates with experience in an authorized automobile dealership will be preferred.
