Role summary

MSK Consultants and Engineers Pvt Ltd highly experienced Site Engineer to manage and coordinate construction activities on site, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate daily site operations, subcontractors, supervisors, and work crews.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and method statements.
- Set out works and verify dimensions, levels, alignment, and tolerances.
- Plan work sequences and monitor progress against project schedules; identify delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, designers, suppliers, and other disciplines.
- Inspect materials and workmanship and ensure compliance with approved specifications, codes, and quality requirements.
- Manage technical submittals, requests for information, inspection requests, material approvals, and non-conformance reports.
- Maintain accurate records of site progress, labour, equipment, deliveries, instructions, and inspections.
- Identify design clashes and site constraints, coordinating practical and timely resolutions.
- Support quantity take-offs, valuations, progress claims, variations, cost tracking, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate procurement and ensure labour, materials, plant, and equipment are available when needed.
- Implement site safety and environmental procedures; investigate and report hazards, incidents, and near misses.




- Lead site meetings and coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, handover, and defect close-out.
- Ensure teams work from current approved drawings and project documents.
- Mentor junior engineers and support the development of site staff.

Qualifications and experience

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant site engineering experience in the construction industry.
- Proven experience coordinating construction projects similar in scope to [insert project type].
- Robust knowledge of construction methods, QA/QC processes, site safety, and relevant building codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software such as AutoCAD, Primavera P6, or MS Project.
- Professional registration or membership, where required.
- Valid driver’s licence, where required.
