Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect / Technical Architect with 10+ years of software engineering experience and strong hands-on expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js, Angular, cloud technologies, and modern application architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop scalable, secure, highly available web and backend solutions.
- Define solution architecture, application architecture, integration patterns, and technology strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams.
- Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Create and maintain HLD, LLD, architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, API specifications, and technical documentation.
- Design and implement backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build modern and scalable frontend applications using Next.js/React and Angular.
- Design RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
- Evaluate existing applications and recommend modernization, re-platforming, and refactoring strategies.
- Ensure applications meet requirements for performance, scalability, availability, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, architects, DevOps, QA, and engineering teams.
- Participate in technical discovery, requirement analysis, estimation, and solutioning activities.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and architectural trade-offs.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, design patterns, and development methodologies.
- Mentor engineers and technical leads and contribute to building strong technical capabilities within the team.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend appropriate solutions based on business requirements.

Requirements:

Required Technical Skills:

Backend Development:

- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with API security, authentication, authorization, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and related security practices.
- Robust understanding of asynchronous programming,



event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
- Experience with Redis or other caching technologies is preferred.

Frontend Development:

- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js / React.
- Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Good understanding of frontend architecture, component design, state management, routing, SSR/SSG, and performance optimization.
- Experience building responsive and scalable enterprise web applications.

Architecture & Design:

- Strong understanding of Solution Architecture and Application Architecture.
- Experience designing microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture, messaging, API gateways, service discovery, and integration patterns.
- Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, clean architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Ability to evaluate technology choices and communicate architectural trade-offs effectively.
- Experience creating HLD, LLD, architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, and technical specifications.

Cloud & Devops:

- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform:
- AWS
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Understanding of cloud services including compute, storage, databases, networking, API management, containers, and serverless technologies.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with deployment, infrastructure, monitoring, logging, and application observability.

Security & Performance:

- Strong understanding of application security principles.
- Experience implementing secure APIs and web applications.
- Knowledge of OWASP practices and common web application vulnerabilities.




- Experience with performance tuning, scalability, load balancing, caching, and profiling.

Solutioning & Technical Leadership:

- Lead technical discussions with customers and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Participate in RFP/RFI, proposal, and solutioning activities where required.
- Prepare technical approaches, estimates, architecture proposals, and solution documents.
- Conduct technical presentations and architecture walkthroughs.
- Work across multiple teams to ensure architectural consistency.
- Act as a technical point of contact for complex application and integration issues.
- Mentor architects, technical leads, and developers on architecture and engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience with significant experience in architecture and technical leadership.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience working with distributed or global engineering teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance business requirements, technical feasibility, cost, scalability, and time-to-market.

Nice to have:

- AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
- Experience with serverless architectures.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise applications.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with architecture governance and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
