Business Development Manager – Interior Design

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and target-oriented Business Development Manager to join our interior design team in Thiruvananthapuram.

The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in interior sales, construction sales, or construction material sales and have strong communication and client-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new leads and identify potential customers for interior design projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Meet clients to understand their requirements, budget, and project expectations.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with clients regarding project requirements.
- Present the company's interior design services and solutions to potential customers.
- Follow up regularly with leads, enquiries, quotations, and proposals.
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed interior projects.
- Coordinate with the design and project teams to ensure smooth communication with clients.
- Negotiate with clients and assist in closing deals.
- Develop business through referrals, networking, local contacts, and other sales channels.




- Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, meetings, and sales conversions.
- Stay updated on local market trends and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of experience in any of the following:
- Interior sales
- Construction sales
- Construction material sales
- Good knowledge of the interior/construction industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good negotiation and convincing abilities.
- Customer-oriented and target-driven approach.
- Ability to generate leads and convert them into sales.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits within Thiruvananthapuram.
- A valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Existing contacts with homeowners, builders, architects, contractors, or property developers will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of interior products, materials, and construction processes.
- Good understanding of the Thiruvananthapuram market.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
