Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Optical Technician for our Optical Retail Franchise Store in Baharampur, West Bengal. The candidate should have hands-on experience in spectacle fitting, lens processing, frame adjustments, customer handling, and basic knowledge of optical products. The ideal candidate must be customer-focused, technically sound, and capable of delivering excellent service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform spectacle frame fitting and adjustments as per customer requirements.
- Measure pupillary distance (PD) and assist customers in selecting suitable frames and lenses.
- Handle lens cutting, mounting, and fitting of lenses into frames.
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance of spectacles.
- Ensure accurate dispensing of prescription glasses.
- Check quality and alignment of spectacles before delivery.
- Educate customers about lens types, coatings, and eyewear care.
- Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and accessories.
- Coordinate with optometrists and store management for smooth operations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through qualified service and after-sales support.




- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of optical equipment.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of optical products, lenses, and frames.
- Experience in spectacle fitting and frame adjustments.
- Understanding of prescription handling and lens specifications.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a retail sales environment.
- Basic computer knowledge for billing and inventory management.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in optical dispensing.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 12th Pass.
- Prior experience in an Optical Store, Retail Optical Chain, or Optical Franchise.
- Honest, responsible, and customer-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Local candidates from Krishnanagar and nearby areas will be preferred.
