Hotel Painter – Job Responsibilities

- Carry out painting work in guest rooms, corridors, public areas, offices, back-of-house areas, and external areas as assigned.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks, and applying primer before painting.
- Perform interior and exterior painting, touch-up, polishing, and repainting work.
- Maintain proper colour consistency and finishing quality throughout the hotel.
- Repair minor wall damages such as cracks, holes, peeling paint, and damp-affected surfaces before painting.
- Ensure painting work is completed with minimum disturbance to guests and hotel operations.
- Protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, equipment, and other hotel assets while carrying out painting work.
- Maintain and properly use paint brushes, rollers, spray equipment, ladders, scaffolding, and other tools.
- Maintain proper stock of paints, thinner, primer, putty, brushes, rollers, and other materials and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Follow all hotel safety procedures,



especially when working at height or using chemicals.
- Keep the work area clean and tidy during and after completion of work.
- Coordinate with the Engineering/Maintenance Department for painting and renovation requirements.
- Attend to urgent painting and touch-up requirements identified by the Engineering team or hotel management.
- Maintain a preventive painting schedule for guest rooms and common areas as instructed.
- Report any water leakage, seepage, cracks, structural damage, or other maintenance issues noticed during painting work.
- Complete assigned work within the specified timeline and quality standards.
- Perform any other painting or maintenance-related duties assigned by the Engineering Manager

Pay: ₹16,086.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
