KTR serves traditional South Indian food, made the slow way, with no shortcuts. Our Davangere dose takes 20 hours to make, our batter ferments naturally with no soda, and our food is simple and homely. We follow clear processes so every dish tastes the same, every time.

What you'll do

- Help prepare dose and idli batter, chutneys, sambar and other items
- Wash, cut and prepare vegetables and ingredients
- Support the cooks at the dose tawa, idli steamer and vada station during busy hours
- Follow KTR recipes, portion sizes and SOPs exactly
- Keep the kitchen, utensils and work areas clean and hygienic
- Store ingredients correctly and follow the FIFO (first in, first out) method
- Help receive and check deliveries from suppliers




- Follow food safety and personal hygiene rules at all times

What we're looking for

- 0–2 years of kitchen experience; freshers are welcome
- Experience in a South Indian kitchen or restaurant is a plus
- Willing to work in shifts, including early mornings, weekends and holidays
- Clean, punctual, and a good team player
- Able to follow instructions and learn quickly
- Basic Hindi, Marathi, Kannada or Tamil is helpful
