JOB DESCRIPTION – SERVICE ADVISOR

Job Purpose

To provide professional customer service throughout the vehicle service process, understand customer requirements, prepare accurate job cards, coordinate repairs and ensure timely vehicle delivery with high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive customers and understand their vehicle service and repair requirements.
- Conduct vehicle inspection and prepare accurate Job Cards with customer complaints and requirements.
- Explain recommended repairs, service requirements and estimated costs to customers.
- Coordinate with technicians and the Workshop Supervisor for proper execution of jobs.
- Monitor job progress and keep customers informed about additional repairs or delays.
- Obtain customer approval for additional work before proceeding.
- Ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired as per Maruti Suzuki/NEXA standards.
- Conduct final inspection and ensure the vehicle is ready for delivery.
- Explain completed work, parts replaced and invoice details to the customer.




- Handle customer complaints professionally and coordinate timely resolution.
- Follow up with customers for service reminders, feedback and future service requirements.
- Contribute towards vehicle inflow, labour sales, parts sales and customer retention.

Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience as a Service Advisor in an automobile dealership/service centre is an advantage.
- Good automobile knowledge and understanding of vehicle service procedures.
- Excellent communication, customer-handling and negotiation skills.
- Target-oriented with positive coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of DMS, MS Office and digital job-card systems preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
