JRF01(1 Post)
Junior Research Fellow(Atmospheric)
Essential:
Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc. /M.S. / M. Tech. /M.E.) in Atmospheric Science / Meteorology / Climate Science / Physics or related fields;
AND
Qualified in or selected through any one of the following (Refer General Condition 8):
(a) National Eligibility Test: CSIR-UGC NET (JRF or Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) OR GATE; OR
(b) National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc. (including UGC-NET conducted by NTA).
Desirable:
- Good understanding of regional climate processes, tropical meteorology, or monsoon dynamics.
- Basic programming or scripting skills in Python, MATLAB, or R for analysing climate data.
- Prior exposure to or a robust interest in learning the WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting) model or regional climate simulations.
JRF02(1 Post)
Junior Research Fellow (Hydrology)
Essential:
Post Graduate Degree (M.E. /M. Tech. /M.Sc. /M.S.) in Water Resources / Hydrology / Remote Sensing or related fields;
AND
Qualified in or selected through any one of the following (Refer General Condition 8):
(a) National Eligibility Test: CSIR-UGC NET (JRF or Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) OR GATE; OR
(b) National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc. (including UGC-NET conducted by NTA).
Desirable:
Experience in SWAT hydrological model.

Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc. /M.S. /M. Tech. /M.E.) in Marine Science / Oceanography / Physical Oceanography / Ocean Technology / Coastal Engineering or related fields:
AND
Qualified in or selected through any one of the following (Refer General Condition 8):
(a) National Eligibility Test: CSIR-UGC NET (JRF or Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) OR GATE; OR
(b) National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc. (including UGC-NET conducted by NTA).
Desirable:
Experience in coastal processes or coastal vulnerability studies.
Basic programming or scripting skills in Python.
JRF04(1 Post)
Junior Research Fellow(Geospatial)
Essential:
Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc. /M.S. /M. Tech. /M.E.) in Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics or related fields;
AND
Qualified in or selected through any one of the following (Refer General Condition 8):
(a) National Eligibility Test: CSIR-UGC NET (JRF or Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) OR GATE; OR
(b) National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc. (including UGC-NET conducted by NTA).
Desirable:
Proficiency in GIS and remote sensing software (ArcGIS/QGIS, ERDAS Imagine, ENVI, Google Earth Engine) and programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
Experience in processing and analysing satellite and geospatial datasets.
Pay: From ₹37,000.00 per month
