- Set small diamonds and gemstones into jewellery using micro-setting techniques.
- Read and understand jewellery designs, setting layouts, and stone specifications.
- Prepare jewellery pieces for stone setting and ensure proper alignment.
- Handle micro-setting tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure stones are securely fixed without damaging the jewellery or stones.
- Check stone size, placement, alignment, and finishing as per specifications.
- Identify loose, damaged, or incorrectly set stones and rectify defects.
- Maintain accuracy and productivity while meeting production targets.
- Coordinate with CAD, casting, polishing, and quality-control teams when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper care of tools and work area.
Required Skills
- Valuable knowledge of micro-setting techniques.
